Happy to be 31 (not 32 like I had almost convinced myself).

Race for the Cure -2010
This year I decided that I was going to do more than just say I was going to participate in the Race for the Cure. Especially since this year we have my Grammy Yolanda to celebrate. She's done awesome. This year she had 3 of her grandkids with her and I hope that there will be more of us next year!
She's a super awesome grammy and great grammy!

California Trip - Going Home
An accidental character breakfast.
We happened on this character breakfast totally by mistake. And it was the best mistake we made! We just thought it was a regular restaurant and it turned out to be another character breakfast with some woodland characters. Sadly, this Disney fan didn't recognize a lot of them.
The most delicious Mickey waffles, or any waffles for that matter, ever!
I mean seriously! Who are these guys? This must be new Disney. I'm old school Disney.

California Trip - Disneyland Day 2
What does Mikey do when he has easy access to the tissue box? He empties it as soon as possible.
Actually I think he was trying to put them all back in.
First family picture at Disneyland. It brought tears to my eyes to think how many times I stood here with my family. And now here I am with my own little family. It was awesome!
On our way to get Mikey his first set of ears, we met Pluto.
Trying on his first set of ears.
Isaiah got some ears too!
We also got to meet Donald.

Waiting in line for Small World.
Another tear jerker for me. I know this ride by heart and to sit here with my baby and watch him get as excited as I always did was so amazing.
California Trip - Disneyland Day 1
Mikey and I started our first day at Disneyland super early for a character breakfast with Minnie. It broke my heart but Mikey wasn't a fan of Minnie.
He tolerated Pooh much better. Please don't mind the random girl on the left who so rudely stepped into my picture. She was a totally cute girl and she was just getting some juice but this was a Mommy and Son moment! I'll get over it.
On the Dumbo ride. My baby is the silent type, he didn't say much on the ride so I wasn't sure he liked it. But this little crooked smile, just like dad's, says it all.

California Trip - California Adventure
Mikey's first California Trip-Beach Day
Some of my fondest memories when growing up was going to visit our family in California every summer. Not only did we get to see our family, we went to the beach and visited Disneyland. I wanted to continue this tradition with Mikey. First was a trip to the beach. This wouldn't be Mikey's first as he had already been on the beaches of Maui.
It was a pretty cold and windy day but we thought we'd at least enjoy being at the and playing in the sand. It started off well. Isaiah had just woken up from a nap so that was very promising.
We quickly realized that Mikey didn't like sand on his toes. He did great in Maui but I guess when your 8 months old you don't care. But at 18 months old, you do. A lot.

"Isaiah? Do you like this stuff?"
Then it was Isaiah's turn to show his dislike of the beach. But his was more along the lines of "That kid has a toy I can't have". So buried his face in the sand. And Auntie Nancy waited to see what he looked like when he looked up.
Mikey also seemed interested in the other kids toys but being from Colorado, we didn't think to bring our own shovel and bucket. There was no Walmart or Target carrying any either! Who knew! They lovely gift shop at the beach did carry a set for only $8! Something that probably would have cost me less than half. Oh well, it did the trick!
