Cousin Leilani & our new cousin Abel got married on August 15. But the night before we all got together at Famous Dave's for dinner with both families.

The wedding was beautiful, take my word for it cause I didn't get any pics. Dealing with a baby who spits up and a satin dress is not an easy combo. Let's just say, the satin dress did NOT win. Congrats Abel & Leilani!!

Our trip to Lowe's.

Sunday Mike, Mikey and I headed to Lowe's to buy some "homeowner" stuff. I mean, that's what that store is for right? A nice man saw Mikey and said "What a cutie! Look at those cheeks!". I replied with "I know right?". Later he saw me and the baby standing with Mike and the man then exclaimed "Now I see he gets his cheeks from his dad!". Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!! It was pretty funny! They are obviously twins.

Mattie's Birthday at Lakeside

Mattie turned three today and had her birthday party at Lakeside this past weekend. I hadn't been there in years and it was so much fun to walk around the park and bring back so many memories. It's rough turning three but Mattie handled it like a pro. She had pizza and punch and took off to ride kiddie rides. She came back later to open gifts and blow out her candles. After thanking her guests for the gifts and for attending her party, she was back to the rides. Mattie was a great host.



She has the best expressions! Very serious here!


Mikey was a good sport and rocked the tiara for a bit since it was a Princess Party.



He had a great time and can't wait to come back when he can get on a ride himself!

What time is it?

Football time baby! August 6, the Broncos held a practice at Invesco field and it was open to their fans. It was very packed for a practice. You should have seen the lines to the concession stand. Denver has some great fans!

Mikey was getting to be quite a little accomplished roller early on but he just decided he wanted no more. Until last week that is. I kept trying to capture it with my camera but he's just too quick.

I was feeding Mikey his cereal and he decided he was done by kicking the bowl and spilling it all over himself! He is very strong and his kicks are getting stronger! Here's the aftermath:
