All caught up!

Phew! That was a big update. I will do my best to keep it updated more often. It's been a great summer so far with Mikey and there is much more left!

Carter Lake

Mikey was almost at 100% on Monday so we went up to Carter Lake with family. Another first for me. If I knew having a baby would get me so many places, I would have done this years ago.

Nate taking a break to eat before getting back into the water.

Spending time with Leilani

Doing jet ski, lake stuff. I have no clue!

It was a really beautiful day.

Mikey hanging out by the watermelon.

I think he's gonna do great with sharing.

4th of July weekend

Despite Mikey being sick, we still managed to get out 4th of July weekend.

Sunday we went to the Cherry Creek Arts Festival. Another first for this Colorado native.

Nathan participated in the crafts for the kids.

June's 5K - Stadium Stampede

We are trying to do one 5K a month and June was the Stadium Stampede and it was to benefit St. Joseph's Hospital.

My time with Mikey in the stroller was 33:33. Not to toot my own horn but..TOOT TOOT! Sorry but I was never a runner so this is a great challenge for me.

Mikey enjoying some post race snacks.

The Broncos mascot Miles

He's just too funny sometimes!

We did it-We have a gate!

I didn't want to do it but Mikey has taken in a interest in the stairs where he never really had before. And there was an incident involving me at home with Mikey and finding him playing in his room. Alone. Upstairs. While I was downstairs. Ugh!

Mikey is not a fan of the gate.

New Member of the Family

Carmen was born on June 17th and she is so sweet!

I'm a proud auntie!

Grandpa Bucky retires - party time!

Grandpa Bucky retired back in January and it was finally time to party.

Jonathan came to party and dance

Mikey chillin with grandma Lourdes
Mattie and Leila

Mikey hanging with cousin Jen

Mikey and all his cousins except Shayla and Carmen who wasn't even born yet!

There were plenty of great memories! Congratulations Grandpa Bucky and Nino Melchor!

Golden-Coors Tour

Here's a confession...I've never been to the Coors tour. I know right? Uncle Thaddeus came to town so off we went.

The tour did not disappoint and I voted myself tour director of the day!

Vegas - Part 2

When looking up things to do in Vegas with a lil one, the Shark Reef was recommended

My goodness, not only do they look alike but...

We also hit up some arcades. Senior looks much more intense than Jr.

Another celebrity sighting! SpongeBob!

I was again worried about the plane ride home but I was quickly put at ease.

Vegas was definitely different this time around but we've had our fun and it was the best to spend time with Mikey.

Memorial Day - Vegas! Part 1

Waiting for the plane!

I have to admit that we were a little scared about Mikey on the plane ride but he did awesome! He flirted some party girls behind us.

Look who was on the plane with us! Knowshon Moreno from the Broncos! I know you're thinking that Mike spotted him, being the big Bronco fan right? Oh no! It was I!

Mikey checking out the view from our awesome room. Note to anyone wanting to stay at the new PH towers: Rooms are awesome but everything else is not!

What do you do with a 15 month old in Vegas?

You check out the free shows at the Miracle Mall

You sit on the steps at the new City Center

Of course the M&M store

There were mornings we got in the stroller (well Mikey did) and we went to get coffee in our jammies

A good ol fashioned roll on the floor is pretty cool

Bellagio Fountains that actually scared Mikey.

Here's the frozen hot chocolate that we'd heard so much about from Serendipity. All I can say is "No me gusto!". Translation : Eww!! So disappointed.

Sometimes you got stretch your legs and run through hallways like crazy

And you must get into the pool in Vegas!
