Big news!!

Mikey has big news to share with the world! He is going to be a big brother! And we are excited to say that it's going to be a girl! We couldn't be happier and are excited to add to our little family.

Required profile shot!

Look at her legs already! So cute!

Children's Museum

Mikey had his first visit to the Children's Museum. I hadn't been there in a long time and was pleasantly surprised. There were so many things for Mikey to do. We arrived a little late but he still enjoyed it.

What do you think? Does he have a future as a fireman? As long as he doesn't ever have to be in danger, I'm all for it.

Bronco Sundays..

This is still a house that supports our Denver broncos. Mike supports them by hanging his Bronco flag outside the house, pulling on one of many Bronco jerseys and dressing Jr in mini Bronco gear. I support them by dressing in orange and blue, watching the first five minutes and then finding something else to do.

Mikey anxiously awaiting the game to start.

Who are we kidding? He was probably watching Nick Jr.

Random Saturday laziness...

Sometimes we just get lazy on the weekends.

Going outside....

Mikey is very experienced in what it takes in order to go outside. First he yells "Hat!" and then he yells "Jacket!". Most times he will actually look for them but there are times he just stands there and yells hopping they will magicially appear!

Zoo Day!

We ventured out with thousands of other fellow Denver citizens to a free day at the zoo.

Mikey ready to go in his wagon!

Taking a small break between the animals.

Explaining to Mikey what elephants are and what they do.

Resting on a bench.

It was a nice day but it was way too crowded. Lesson learned and we will definitely pay to enjoy the zoo with a smaller crowd.

Halloween Night!

We weren't even sure we'd go out on Halloween since we had already a few events and it was very cold out. But it was Halloween and Mikey had yet to debut his Monkey costume!

Keeping warm in the wagon!

Taking a break.

And a after a few houses and a lot of candy, we were given the signal that it was time to go home!

Another Halloween Event

Cousin AJ's school had a Trick or Treat night at the school and we all got together and went.

I'm still pretty new at trick-or-treating with a child so I forgot to empty the bag of all the candy before we went and Mikey found the stash!

Spidey doing some climbing.

Nate showing Mikey what Snake Eyes does.

The cutest Minnie Mouse I've ever seen!

Little Red Riding Hood and a Lady Bug!

Mike and his goddaughter Lexi.

After all the candy was collected, the school had a dj in the gym and Mikey had the time of his life! We've never seen the moves he busted out with. Rumor is grandpa Bucky plays Usher performances at home and Mikey practices there.

AJ and Nate bustin a move. They were playing each other's wingman that night. I suspect these two are going to be handful when they are old enough.

Trunk or Treat

We got a lot of good use of Mikey's Halloween costumes this year. We had a few events that we knew of. The first was Thornton's "Trunk or Treat". People dress up the trunks of their cars and hand out candy to the little, and big, kids!

Senior and Junior...most of our time is spent chasing after this lil one! This year, dad wanted desperately for Mikey to be a super hero with muscles. Luckily, Spiderman fit perfectly. On a different note: I worry that Mike and I will be "that couple" that call each other Mom and Dad. I think it's fine when you're speaking to the kids about each other but if it's just the two of you and you call each other Mom or Dad, it feels like it would be wrong. Just my rambles I guess.

This guy's "baby" scared me. I hated that we had to stand in line behind him. It still brings me a lil tear to look at this.

Elmo, one of Mikey's favorite characters, was there!

He did pretty good in his wagon. He didn't keep the mask on for too long though!

I'm always amazed at how creative some people get. Every year I say I'd like to dress up a trunk and participate but I'm afraid we'd look crazy next to some of the trunks that were out there.

Leila and Cameron got to sit and have tea with the Mad Hatter.

Mikey with his cousins Iron Man (Isaiah) and Snake Eyes (Nathan).

I'm not sure what Cameron was but she was super cute.

Leila was Minnie Mouse! A picture with these two was next to impossible.

And I just had to post a very rare picture of Mommy and Mikey!

Family Friday night dinner!

From time to time we like to get out and enjoy a meal out. This time, Nathan was with us as we headed to one of our favorites Olive Garden.

I don't know what Nate thinks he's doing here. He knows Auntie Nancy is boss!

Mikey pretty much likes most things but especially chicken and bread. He's recently starting saying "cheese" for pictures. Although it can be hit and miss.

Nate very full and showing of his new safari hat.

Nuggets Time!

Because we participated in the "Fans on the Field 5K", we were given complimentary tickets to the Nuggets preseason game.

Sr and Jr. The mandatory picture.

Fans on the Field 5K

We participated in the "Fans on the Field 5K" in October. It was very packed but fun. For those who did the 10K, they were able to visit Coors Field, Pepsi Center and Invesco Field. For us non-serious runners, we did the 5K and ran through Pepsi Center and Invesco Field.

Mikey getting ready to ride before the race. Silly, but warm hat? Check! Milk? Check!

This was my view of the run as we approached the Pepsi Center.

And this was the entrance to the Pepsi Center.

I didn't get pictures of the run into Invesco but it was very cool. They even put our faces up on the big screen! We hope to be back next year!

He loves jello but...

it's so messy! I think we are still cleaning it from his chair and his shoes are still jello stained.

Happy birthday to Me!

Happy to be 31 (not 32 like I had almost convinced myself).

Thanks for coming out to celebrate everyone. It made it extra special!

Race for the Cure -2010

This year I decided that I was going to do more than just say I was going to participate in the Race for the Cure. Especially since this year we have my Grammy Yolanda to celebrate. She's done awesome. This year she had 3 of her grandkids with her and I hope that there will be more of us next year!

She's a super awesome grammy and great grammy!

Train Ride

We've always wanted to get on the train at the Orchard shopping center but it was always full. This day was very quiet and it was just mommy and Mikey.

I wanted him to sit on my lap but, quite frankly, he refused. Such a big boy!
